Cartridge
Recycling and Remanufacturing
Many HP, Lexmark and Dell cartridges can be remanufactured
for re-sale. We have specialist equipment for this and are always in need of good-quality, used cartridges.
Preferably ones that have not previously been refilled.
If you send us your old cartridges we will donate £1 to the
Duchess of Kent House Trust charity
for each one suitable for remanufacture.
Some printer manufacturers collect cartridges for recycling, but usually they will have them ground
down to the lowest grade of plastic waste. This requires more energy and resources and has a greater environmental
impact than remanufacturing.
Printer manufacturers also have an ulterior motive. They make huge profits from cartridge and ink sales
and will do whatever they can to protect those profits. What they never say is that by recycling cartridges
themselves they prevent reuse by companies like ours and hence protect those profits.
Because they are just simple tanks of ink most Brother, Canon and Epson cartridges cannot
be remanufactured and it is probably not worth the cost of trying to get them refilled. It is better to
include them with other recyclable plastics if that option is available to you.
So please send your used cartridges (HP, Lexmark and Dell ONLY please!) to this address:

Many thanks for helping us to keep our costs down, for doing something to reduce the environmental
impact of printing, and for helping us to help a worthy cause!
